Lugano, Ticino, 2014, building renovation:
Renovation work on a historical building, built at the end of the 19th century, located in the district of Molino Nuovo in Lugano. Over the years, the building has undergone some interventions and modifications, which have partially altered its appearance, but not the internal organisation of the flats.
The conservative intervention affected the image of the apartments, with their progression through the use of contemporary techniques and materials. A lot of work was also done on the technique and energy yield with the replacement of the heating and electrical systems and windows, aimed at mitigating the noise impact generated by the presence of heavy traffic in the area. To conclude, the repainting of the facades restored the elegant appearance of the building, as it historically was.
